This course provides participants with detailed information to enable them to perform the role of Chief Warden, or Deputy Chief Warden. Participants should have completed Warden training in the preceding two years.

  • Emergency Warning and Intercommunication System
  • Fire Extinguishers
  • Fire Blankets
  • Hose Reels

This Course Covers:

On completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the relevant legislation and standards
  • Identify appropriate management for a range of emergencies
  • Develop a risk assessment for their workplace
  • Describe strategies for preventing emergencies
  • Identify how and why to debrief following an emergency
  • Identify and describe requirements for Essential Services
  • Plan for business continuity and recovery from an emergency

A Certificate of Attendance is issued following completion of the course.
