The following policy applies to all Training courses provided by Specialists On Safety.

Customer Cancellations (must be submitted to SOS in writing)

• Cancellations received up to 5 business days prior to class will not be charged the training fee.
• Cancellations 2-4 business days prior to class will be invoiced 50% of the full training fee.
• Cancellations 24 hours prior to class, and no-shows, are subject to payment for the full amount.
• Participant substitutions may be made at any time.
• Please note that if you do not cancel or do not attend, you are responsible for payment.
• SOS aims to be flexible and accommodating with training, and recognizes that in some cases there are exceptional circumstances in which a charge may not be incurred.
• Consideration for any charges will also take into account the client changing the training to another date within the next 8 weeks.

Cancellation of Course by SOS

• Specialists On Safety reserves the right to cancel or change a class at any time, including but not limited to, lack of participation, classroom, equipment or trainer availability.
• An appropriate substitute trainer will be provided, where possible.
• Notification of cancellations will be provided within 14 days of the class, whenever possible.
• Participants will not be charged for the course.
• SOS is not liable for any direct, or indirect, consequential or special damages that may be incurred due to a cancellation of a scheduled class, including, but not limited to, cancellation penalties for transportation or accommodations. The customer or student's sole remedy shall be the refund of prepaid course fees.

General Training Disclaimer

Specialists On Safety shall not be liable for damages of any kind resulting from errors or omissions in the training materials nor shall SOS be liable for any damages resulting from the use of the training materials or other information conveyed at a SOS course.
