The course provides participants with information about the requirements or legislation and an Emergency Planning Committee as outlined in Australian Standard 3745 - 2010.

Topics covered in detail include how an Emergency Planning Committee functions its roles and responsibilities and also the following;

This course covers:

  • Emergency Planning Committee Roles and Responsibilities
  • Establishing an Emergency Control Organisation
  • Selection of Wardens
  • Selection of appropriate and competent training providers
  • Development of an Emergency Response Procedures Manual (or contracting an appropriate provider)
  • Understanding Essential Safety Measures

The duration of the course allows plenty of time for all participants to develop and discuss specific needs for their facility.

A Certificate of Attendance is issued following completion of the course.
