Emergency Planning Committee (EPC) Details: This course is for people who will form part of an organisation’s Emergency Planning Committee. The course provides participants with information about the requirements or legislation and an Emergency Planning Committee as outlined in Australian Standard 3745 - 2010. Topics covered in detail include how an Emergency Planning Committee functions its roles and responsibilities and also the following; This course covers: Emergency Planning Committee Roles and Responsibilities Establishing an Emergency Control Organisation Selection of Wardens Selection of appropriate and competent training providers Development of an Emergency Response Procedures Manual (or contracting an appropriate provider) Understanding Essential Safety Measures The duration of the course allows plenty of time for all participants to develop and discuss specific needs for their facility. A Certificate of Attendance is issued following completion of the course.
