Participants have 30 days to complete the training from when they register. Workplace Emergency Response (Warden) Training Details: This course is designed for staff assigned warden duties within their workplace. The course has been developed to meet Australian Standard 3745 - 2010 Planning for emergencies in facilities. This Course Covers: Australian Standard 3745 (2010) Planning for emergencies in facilities Pre-emergency planning requirements Emergency Control Organisation Structure Roles and responsibilities of Emergency Response Wardens Responding to workplace emergencies Evacuation, non-evacuation or shelter-in-place At the end of the training there will be a short assessment to complete with multiple choice questions for participants to demonstrate understanding. Participants that successfully complete the assessment will receive a certificate for the Online Workplace Emergency Response Training. Fire Equipment Training Details: This course provides participants with information on using basic fire fighting equipment. It covers the selection and use of fire extinguishers and fire blankets. This Course Covers: Fire Definition Fire Triangle How to Extinguish a Fire Heat Transfer Classes of Fire Standard Fire Orders / RACE How to Use a Fire Blanket How to Use a Fire Extinguisher At the end of the training there will be a short assessment to complete with multiple choice questions for participants to demonstrate understanding. Participants that successfully complete the assessment will receive a certificate for the Online Fire Equipment Training.
